Aryananda Babu wins Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs

Mumbai: 12-year-old Aryananda Babu from Kerala has become the winner of children’s singing reality show Saregamapa Little Champs Season 8. The special thing is that Aryananda, studying in the seventh grade, does not know how to speak Hindi. In the show, he used to write Hindi songs in Malayalam. Regarding the prize money, Aryananda says, “Right now we live in a rented house, we will take a house with the money won in this show and I will keep some money for my studies as well. I will sing one in all the languages ​​of the world. I want to be a famous singer. ” Aryananda’s parents teach South Indian classical music to children in Kochi. Aryananda had earlier been the runner-up of Saregamapa Little Champs Tamil in the year 2018. The show’s judges Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Ali on Sunday handed him a check for Rs five lakh along with the winner trophy in the final episode. The show’s first and second runners-up, Kolkata’s Ranita Banerjee and Punjab’s Gurkirat Singh were awarded prize money of Rs three and two lakhs respectively.

The show began with the performances of the top seven contestants Aryananda Bala, Ranita Banerjee, Gurkeerat Singh, Zayed Ali, Madhav Arora, Saksham Sonavane and Tanishka Sarkar. The Finale episode featured Jackie Shroff, Govinda and Shakti Kapoor as the chief guests. The winner among the contestants was decided on the basis of public votes received through the website FirstCry.com.
