New Delhi: The flights of Air India Express were banned by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority by 2 October. Now news has come that from Saturday all the flights of Air India Express will be operated on their own time. Dubai had banned Air India Express flights for bringing passengers receiving certificates confirming Coronavirus infection. According to the rules of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government, every passenger traveling from India must undergo RT-PCR test 96 hours before the trip and they must have a certificate not confirming the infection in the investigation.

That’s why Dubai imposed a ban
An official had said, “A passenger had a certificate confirming coronavirus infection on 2 September and had traveled on the ‘Jaipur-Dubai’ flight of Air India Express on 4 September. Another similar incident had also happened earlier, where a passenger had traveled by another flight of Air Lines to Dubai. Officials said that hence the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has postponed the Air India Express flights from September 18 to October 2. On being asked in this regard, the Air India Express informed the DGCA on 17 September to get a notice to stop the flights from 18 September to 2 October.

Corona positive issued notice to a passenger
The airline said, ‘Notice has been issued by the airline’s’ ground handling agents’ in Delhi and Jaipur to visit a passenger infected with the coronavirus in an Air India Express flight to Dubai on 28 August and 4 September respectively. . ‘ He said that the airport handling agencies have taken appropriate punitive action against the employees responsible for this lapse. Ground handling of Air India Express in India is done by Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL), a subsidiary of the national airline Air India.
