5G service introduced in ‘New Digital Universe’ launched in 13 cities of the country

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G services in India today. The services will be launched at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) in New Delhi. 5G service will be officially launched at the IMC program at Pragati Maidan in Delhi at 10 am today. The live telecast of this event can be seen on National Public Broadcaster Doordarshan along with other major news channels.

Apart from this, the working of 5G services will be demonstrated from an underground tunnel of the upcoming Delhi Metro station in Dwarka Sector 25 of the capital. With the help of 5G technology, uninterrupted coverage, high data rates, and extremely reliable communication will be available.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the sixth edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC). Delhi Metro has provided the equipment for the 5G demonstration. Exports believe that the commercial 5G service is going to start tomorrow, although it may take more than a year to reach the common people.

The theme of the program is New Digital Universe
IMC 2022 is scheduled to be held from 1st to 4th October with the theme of ‘New Digital Universe’. It will bring together leading thinkers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and government officials. On this occasion, the new opportunities emerging from the rapid adoption and spread of digital technology will be discussed and demonstrated.

5G service will be available in many cities
It is also expected that with the launch of these services, 5G service will be available to customers in many cities from October. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this yet. According to a report by CNBC-Awaaz, during this program, telecom companies will give a demo of the 5G service in front of Prime Minister Modi. During this time companies can make a formal announcement of the 5G launch.
