Major General Babar Iftikhar, Director General of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), told a press conference in Rawalpindi that, “An unarmed, high-speed supersonic missile originating from India struck its airspace before crashing into its territory. violated. Major Iftikhar said that “The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) detected the projectile immediately after launch from Sirsa in the Indian state of Punjab at 18:43 hrs local time, which clearly came into Pakistani territory. “From its initial course the object suddenly moved towards Pakistani territory and eventually breached Pakistani airspace, falling near Miya Channu,” he said.
Sources in the Indian defense establishment have said that they are probing the claims made by Pakistani officials.
