Lansing (USA): With more than 11 million Covid-19 cases in the United States, many states have begun renewed efforts to prevent the spread of the infection. Nearly one million cases of coronavirus have been reported in less than a week. Following in the footsteps of Washington and many other states, Michigan has also taken several steps to prevent the transition.
The administration of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Sunday ordered the closure of the high school and college individual attendance classes, a ban on seating in restaurants, and a ban on sports activities. Many recreational activities will be closed under the order and the gym will not have group exercise classes. These new rules will remain in effect for three weeks. Earlier, Washington Governor J. Insley had announced new restrictions on businesses and social interaction.
According to Johns Hopkins University’s coronavirus data, the number of Covid-19 cases in the United States reached 11 million by Sunday. On November 9, the number of infection cases here reached one crore, which means that about one million cases have come to light in just six days. The first case of coronavirus in the US came to light in Washington on January 20 and within 300 days the total cases reached 11 million.
