Garhwa: During the search operation on Tuesday, the 203 Battalion of CoBRA from Thalia and Jhandi Mundi Pahar adjacent to Budha Pahar also recovered a large number of IED bombs and a large amount of other material including arms and ammunition. According to the report, the police got great success in the joint action of Jharkhand Police and CRPF under the leadership of Deputy Commandant Jitendra Kumar of Cobra 203 Battalion.
In the search operation on Tuesday, the Cobra team saw their camp made of plastic tarpaulin by the Naxalites on the mountain named Jhandi Mundi. After a thorough investigation, the weapons and explosives kept hidden by the Naxalites were recovered. The recovered items included 22 IEDs, seven VHF sets, two VHF user manuals, 12 batteries, three He.36 grenade launchers, 160 meters of cable wire, 9 IED series mechanisms, and 26 detonators. Contains food preparation and daily use material including four kilos of chemicals. It is noteworthy that last Saturday also the Cobra battalion had a big success in which another material including four ID bombs was recovered.
On the other hand, due to the temporary camp of Cobra in Jhaul Dera of Budha Pahad, the police are getting successful continuously. Head constables Brijesh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Singh, Girdhari, Mohammad Hussain, Mahendra Kumar, Jawan Lal Singh, Awadhesh Ojha, Bal Singh, Vijay Hadiya, Vinod Kumar, and other jawans were involved in the search operation.
