Army vehicle fell from height of 90 feet

Leh: A truck carrying jawans met with an accident in the Turtuk sector of Ladakh. Seven soldiers have died, while 19 have been injured, and have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment. Army sources gave this information. The incident happened when the jawans were being shifted from one place to another.

According to the information received, many soldiers have also suffered serious injuries in this accident, and are being transported to the Western Command with the help of the Indian Air Force.

According to the army, the vehicle carrying 26 army personnel on the front from Partapur slipped and fell into the Shyok river. The vehicle fell below 50-60 feet. Seven soldiers have died in this accident, while 19 have been injured. Many have suffered serious injuries, and are being brought to the army hospital in Leh with the help of the Air Force.

Prime Minister Modi has expressed grief over this accident in Ladakh. The PM wrote, “Very sad to hear about the bus accident in Ladakh in which brave soldiers have lost their lives. My condolences are with the bereaved families. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. Everything possible is being done to help the affected people.”
