Yerevan (Armenia): The war for the Nagorno-Karabakh region continued on Sunday, with Armenia and Azerbaijan reiterating their commitment to a peaceful solution to their decades-old conflict. Nagorno-Karabakh’s army accused the Azerbaijani army of shelling civilians in the areas of Martuni and Askren on Saturday evening and said there was fighting in all directions on the border on Sunday morning.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry responded by accusing the Armenian army of shelling Azerbaijan’s Tartar, Adam and Aghjabedi areas. The war for the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which started on September 27, is not going away despite all efforts for peace.
