
Islamabad: The problems of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan are not taking the name of work. In many reports of Pakistani media, it is being claimed that his government is sure to fall after the vote on the No-Confidence Motion. Meanwhile, the news is coming that at least 50 ministers of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have gone missing, which is not visible to the public.
According to the report of the Pakistani newspaper, The Express Tribune, more than 50 federal and provincial ministers have not been seen in public places. This newspaper quoted sources as saying that among the missing ministers, 25 are federal and provincial advisors and special assistants, while 4 of them are state ministers, 4 are advisors and 19 are special assistants.
Although at the federal level, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan still has the support of his ministers. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Energy Minister Hammad Azhar, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, and Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid are among the ministers who are defending the Pakistani PM.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has stepped up efforts to woo its allies after the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan was adjourned till March 28. ARY News quoted sources as saying that a delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is likely to hold a meeting with the Pakistani PM today.

Earlier on Thursday, PTI leaders also met Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders to persuade them to return to the government and vote in support of the Pakistani PM in the National Assembly on the day of polling.
The National Assembly of Pakistan has a total of 342 members, of which the majority figure is 172. The PTI-led coalition government has the support of 179 members. Imran Khan’s party PTI has 155 members and 4 major allies MQM-P, PML-Q, Balochistan Awami Party, Grand Democratic Alliance have 7, 5, 5, and 3 members respectively.
