Washington: Indian spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has been recognized as a ‘Global Citizenship Ambassador’ by a renowned American university in the US. The university has conferred this honor on Ravi Shankar for his peace work, humanitarian work, spiritual master and work as a global inter-religious leader.
According to a statement released on Monday, Ravi Shankar was recognized as the Global Citizenship Envoy last week by the Northeastern University Center for Spiritualism, Dialogue and Service. Alexander Levering Kern, Executive Director and Spiritual Advisor (Chaplain) at the University said, “We are grateful to Sri Sri. There could be nothing better to start a global citizenship messenger program. We will talk to a delighted human worker and learn from them. They have brought our best shared human values to life.
