
Islamabad: The top Afghan negotiators who were negotiating with the Taliban arrived in Islamabad on Monday on a three-day visit to Pakistan. During this time he will meet Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and other government officials.

Pakistan’s top officials welcomed Abdullah, the head of the ‘Afghan General Council for National Reconciliation’, to Islamabad. In addition to meeting the Pakistani Prime Minister, Abdullah will also meet President Arif Alvi, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and other officials. The General Counsel represents the Government of Afghanistan in historic peace talks with the Taliban. The talks between the two sides began in Qatar on 12 September.
