Karachi: There was a big explosion in Karachi University Blast of Pakistan on Tuesday. The husband of the woman who blew himself up at the university has said that his selfless act left him speechless, but he is proud of what he did. Four people, including three Chinese nationals, were killed in an explosion on Tuesday near the Confucius Institute, a Chinese language learning center at Karachi University. Expressing strong reaction to this attack, China has demanded an investigation.
Afghan journalist Bashir Ahmad Gwakh wrote on Twitter that Awasan Bashir Baloch, the husband of female suicide bomber Shari Baloch, tweeted from an undisclosed location that he was proud of what he did. He also told that Shari Baloch has two children (8 and 5 years old). Her husband, Habitan Bashir Baloch, is a dentist and her father was a lecturer.
Gwakh also shared a screenshot of the tweet posted by Baloch’s husband. The tweet read, “Shri Jaan, your selfless work has left me speechless but I am also smiling proudly today. Mahroch and Mir Hasan will become very proud people, remembering your greatness. You will always remain an important part of our life.
Talking about the Baloch who carried out the first female suicide attack, Afghan journalist Gwakh reported that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) said that the 30-year-old woman had joined the group two years ago and she herself Willingly prepared for the fidayeen attack.
Earlier, Gwakh had shared CCTV footage of a burqa-clad woman blowing herself up as the van crossed the road. The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has condemned the blast on the campus of a university in Karachi. Here, Karachi University has been kept closed on Wednesday after the blast on Tuesday.
