Chandigarh: In a shocking revelation, London-based gangster Kapil Sangwan has admitted to orchestrating the murder of Nafe Singh Rathi, the president of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) party in Haryana. Sangwan uploaded a video on social media on Wednesday (February 28, 2024), in which he claimed that he ordered the killing of Rathi as revenge for his association with Sangwan’s rival, gangster Manjeet Mahal.

Sangwan accused Rathi of having a close friendship with Mahal and working with his brother Sanjay to usurp the properties of others. He also alleged that Rathi had supported Mahal in the murder of Sangwan’s brother-in-law and his friends. Sangwan warned that anyone who joins hands with his enemy will face the same fate as Rathi.

Rathi and an INLD worker were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Bahadurgarh near Delhi on January 2, 2024. The assailants had fired indiscriminately at Rathi’s car and fled the scene.
