Will get better performance and speed
WhatsApp said that its new native desktop app has been designed for the Windows operating system. This will give better performance and speed to the users than before. Along with this, users will be able to take advantage of multi-device support on this app as before. This means that even after the phone is offline, you will continue to get notifications and messages on the desktop.

How to use
When you start the app, you will see a QR code on your desktop. You have to open WhatsApp on your phone and go to Settings and tap on the Linked Devices option. After this, you will get the option to add a new device. As soon as you tap it, the scanner will open on the phone. Now you have to connect to the app by scanning the QR code present on the computer screen.

After this process is completed, your WhatsApp account will be set up on the desktop. Now even if your phone is turned off, you will be able to receive and send new messages on the desktop app. You will also be able to make video and audio calls through this app.
