Washington: America has relaxed the Covid-19 travel rules for Indian travelers. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday (local time) eased its COVID-19 travel advisory for India from level three (high risk) to level one (low risk).
The CDC said in its advisory that it has changed its COVID-19 travel advisory for India from “Level Three (High)” to “Level One (Low)”. The US State Department said, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level One Travel Health Notice due to Kovid-19, which indicates a low level of Covid-19 in the country. If you are fully vaccinated with a vaccine authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), your risk of contracting COVID-19 and developing severe symptoms may be lower.
“Before planning any international travel, please review CDC’s specific recommendations for vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers,” the statement said. Giving important information for those traveling to India, the CDC said, “Make sure you are vaccinated and up to date with your corona vaccines before traveling to India.”
The CDC said, “Even if you are up to date with your corona vaccines, you may still be at risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19. Anyone two years of age or older should wear a well-fitting mask in indoor public places. Follow all the requirements and recommendations in India.”
In America, 270000 children are corona positive in a month, know the condition of the world?
Significantly, CDC uses Travel Health Notices (THNs) to alert travelers and others around the world to health hazards and to advise them on how to protect themselves.
