In this regard, White House doctor Kevin O’Connor said that during the President’s physical examination on February 16, all cancerous tissues were successfully removed. He termed Biden completely healthy to perform his White House responsibilities.
On the matter, the doctor told that the place where the wound was removed in Biden’s chest has completely healed and the President will continue to get regular skin tests done. What was removed from his chest wound were basil cells. Basil cells are the most common and easiest to cure cancer cells.
Doctor O’Connor told that they do not spread as fast as other cancers but their size can be large, so they are removed. This cancer is spread by exposure to sunlight. O’Connor said the president spent a lot of time in the sun during his youth. US First Lady Jill Biden also had two basil cell lesions removed in January. Significantly, Biden’s son Beau died in 2015 due to brain cancer.
