New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services Examination-2021 on Monday. Shruti Sharma has secured the first rank, while Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla have secured the second and third positions respectively. Shruti Sharma spoke to news agency ANI about securing the first position in UPSC Exam 2021.
“I am very happy with my result. My strategy was to make my notes from newspapers and focus on answer writing practice for better presentation. I have used social media in a balanced way. My first priority is the UP cadre. My father teaches in school, so I want to work in the field of education. My grandmother also wanted my mother to get UPSC done but at that time there was no such situation so things could not happen.

23 people selected from Jamia Coaching Academy

It is to be noted that, on October 10, 2021, the UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination was conducted, the results of which were declared on October 29, 2021. After which the main examination was conducted from January 7 to 16, 2022 and the results were declared on March 17. At the same time, the interview round was conducted from April 5 to May 26, 2022.
685 candidates cleared the UPSC exam
According to UPSC, 685 candidates have qualified for the exam. Out of 685 candidates, 244 are from the general category, 203 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 73 from the Economically Weaker Sections, and 105 from the Scheduled Castes (SC), and 60 from the Scheduled Tribes (ST).
