UGC NET Phase II exam postponed

New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has postponed the second stage of the National Eligibility Test (NET). The NET exam is scheduled to be conducted from 20 to 30 September. UGC Chairman Professor M Jagadesh Kumar gave this information by tweeting.

Taking to Twitter, Professor Jagdish Kumar said, “UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (Merged Sessions) Final Stage Examination is now scheduled to be conducted from 20th September to 30th September 2022. NET will be conducted for 64 subjects in the second phase. The second phase examinations which were scheduled to be held on August 12, 13, and 14, 2022 have now been postponed.

Organized at 310 exam centers
The UGC Chairman further informed that ‘National Testing Agency has conducted the first phase of UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 examination on July 09, 11 and 12, 2022 for 33 subjects in 310 examination centers located in 225 cities across the country. At the same time, the second phase was earlier scheduled to be held on August 12, 13, and 14, 2022 but has been postponed. Now the final phase of UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 exams will be held from September 20 to 30, to be held between 2022. The city of the examination center will be displayed on the website of NTA on 11 September 2022. At the same time, the admit card can be downloaded from the website of NTA on 16 September 2022.
