Washington: U.S. Attorney General William Barr has allowed the country’s federal prosecutors to investigate allegations of irregularities in voting ahead of the 2020 U.S. presidential election results. The move comes days after Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s chances of defeating U.S. President Donald Trump and the Republican nominee using the Department of Justice to challenge the results.
