Rochester (US): Two people died and 14 others were injured in a firing incident at a party in Rochester, New York, early Saturday. The police gave information about it. Acting Police Chief Mark Simmons told reporters that around 100 people were present at the party at the time of the incident.
Police are trying to find out who fired and why. At present it is not known whether one or more people carried out the firing incident. Simmons reported that the dead included a young man and a young woman. Both were around 20 years of age.
14 people injured in the shootings were rushed to the hospital. All injured are out of danger. Police said no suspects have been detained. Rochester, in western New York, had witnessed tremendous protests in the past after the case of Daniel Prud’s death. The protesters had alleged that the case of his death was concealed and demanded action against the responsible officials.
