Madison (USA): The recount of votes for the presidential election in the US state of Wisconsin was completed on Sunday, including Democrat Joe Biden’s rival Donald Trump. Was confirmed. However, Trump said he would challenge them in court before the recount results came out.
Dane County is the second and final county where the recount was completed. In this county, Trump gained 45 votes, while in the state’s largest Milwaukee county, Biden gained 132 votes in the count completed on Friday. Looking at these two together, Biden got 87 votes more.
“As we said, the recount is only to reaffirm Biden’s victory,” said Daniel Malphy, who led Biden’s campaign in Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, Trump campaign spokeswoman Jenna Ellis said in a statement that the recount in Wisconsin had “revealed serious issues” about the validity of the votes cast. However, Ellis did not provide any concrete details to confirm his claim.
