Trump tweeted Tuesday afternoon, “I’m pleased to inform you that for accuracy in reporting, I’m considering posting my ’60 Minutes’ interview with Leslie Stall before it airs. ! This will be done so that everyone can see a glimpse of a completely fake and biased interview. ”
Shortly after leaving the White House for his election rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, the president said, “Everyone should compare this dreadful election ploy with the dull Joe Biden’s recent interview!”
Trump said in another tweet, “Leslie Stall was not wearing a mask after the interview at the White House. There is much more to tell right now. ” Several news organizations, including CNN and The Hill, reported that Trump abruptly dropped the interview.
