Ankara, Turkey: In a devastating terrorist attack that shook the nation’s capital on Wednesday, several lives were lost at the premises of Turkiye Aerospace and Defense Company (TUSAS) in Ankara. According to Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, the attack left many dead and wounded, though exact figures have yet to be disclosed. The incident has sent shockwaves across the country, with authorities working swiftly to control the situation and secure the site.
The targeted location, Turkiye Aerospace Industries in Kahramankazan about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from central Ankara came under fire during a brazen assault by armed attackers. Eyewitnesses reported seeing two to three gunmen storming the facility, shooting indiscriminately at employees. Shocking footage of the attack circulated on social media, showing armed terrorists wreaking havoc inside the complex.
