New Delhi: The weather has suddenly changed in many states of the country. The process of rain may start in East India. Light to moderate thunderstorms has been occurring over Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha for the past few days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, today there may be rain and thundershowers at isolated places over Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Madhya Maharashtra. According to the Meteorological Department, mercury is going to rise in the country’s capital Delhi. At the same time, in some states, the Meteorological Department has said about the heatwave.
It will rain with thunderstorms in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance is present over North-West Madhya Pradesh and its neighborhood. By March 11, rains may occur over Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. Strong thunderstorms are expected at many places in North Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand today. It is feared that during this time the wind speed may remain at 30-40 kmph. Whereas, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to give scattered rain and thundershowers over the Western Himalayan regions from March 12 to 14.
Heatwaves will disturb these states
The Meteorological Department has predicted heat wave conditions at isolated places over Konkan, Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Saurashtra, and Kutch on March 10. It is believed that today the minimum temperature in Goa can be 22 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 37 degrees. A slight drop in temperature may be recorded in the coming days. The states of North West India may see an increase of 2 to 3 degrees in temperature during the next four days.
Crops destroyed due to rain and hail
There has been raining and snowfall at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. It has rained with a strong wind at a few places over East Rajasthan and East Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, thunderstorms were also observed at different places in Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan. At many places in Rajasthan and Maharashtra, standing crops in the fields were destroyed due to rain and hailstorm.
