Islamabad: By entering Pakistan, China is exploiting its resources and is busy making it its ‘slave’. But the Prime Minister of the neighboring country, Imran Khan, is allowing this to happen while remaining silent. The News report states that by 2025, about 5 million Chinese citizens will be working in Pakistan. In fact, most Chinese citizens in Pakistan are employed in construction works under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
To meet the health needs of Chinese citizens, cooperation between Pakistani and Chinese medical universities, research institutes, and biotechnological firms is being increased under the China Pakistan Health Corridor (CPHC), a senior Pakistani public health expert said.
Professor Dr Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice-Chancellor of the Academy of Health Services (HSA), told The News, “To meet the health needs of millions of Chinese citizens working in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Central Asian states, we need specialized healthcare facilities. . This will include both traditional and modern treatment systems.
MoU to be signed between Pakistan and Chinese Institute
Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan said, ‘This can only be achieved by increasing cooperation between Pakistani and Chinese health institutions under the China Pakistan Health Corridor. Negotiations for signing joint cooperative agreements are in an advanced stage.
He said, ‘Several Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between Pakistan and the Chinese Institute during the 11th Annual Public Health Conference in Islamabad on 23-24 September 2021.
There will also be an emphasis on traditional Chinese medicines
The Vice-Chancellor of the Academy of Health Services (HSA) said, “We want to train Pakistani experts in modern medical techniques as well as in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine is preferred by millions of people in China. These experts will not only meet the medical needs of Chinese citizens but also help Pakistanis who believe in alternative medicine.
