
Karachi: A group of Chinese Nationals narrowly escaped in Karachi City on Tuesday when unidentified assailants tried to target their vehicle with magnetized explosives in a busy market. Police gave this information. According to senior police officials, Chinese citizens were going in a van and on the way they saw two people riding on a motorcycle sticking some equipment from their vehicle.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Zubair Nazir Sheikh told the media, “They immediately stopped the vehicle on the side of the road and called the police helpline.”
On receiving the information, the bomb disposal squad reached there and safely removed the explosive. Earlier, the hammers attempted to detonate by remote control but could not explode due to some disturbances. Sheikh said that the magnetized device contained about one kilogram of explosive material. All Chinese citizens work in a Chinese restaurant.
