Mandi: BJP MP Ramswaroop Sharma from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh has been reported dead in suspicious condition. According to preliminary information, his suicide is being feared. However, there is an incident of residence in Delhi.
According to sources, the MP hanged himself on the noose and according to the policemen present on the spot, the gate was closed from inside. Staff has given information by calling. On arrival of the police, the gate was broken and the police entered. The MPs used to live in Gomti Apartments in Delhi and this apartment is right in front of RML Hospital. The police forensic investigation team has gone out after investigating.
According to the information, Ramswaroop Sharma, MP from Mandi, was currently living in a Gomti apartment in Delhi. In the Lok Sabha elections 2019, he reached Parliament for the second time after registering a historic victory from the hot seat market. He has won by defeating Congress candidate Aashir Sharma by a huge margin of nearly four lakh votes. This has been the biggest and historic victory of Mandi parliamentary constituency till date. After the demise of the MP, the BJP has now canceled the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee. At present, the police has reached the spot and the incident is being investigated. Also, the police have taken his body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
Call the control room when not up
It is being told that MPs used to wake up daily till 6.30 am. Today, when he did not wake up till 6.30 pm, his PA called the control room. Then the police came and broke the jailbreak. Cook PAs were present in the house and the remaining members of the family live in the ancestral village. It is also being told that the 62-year-old MP was ill for a long time. A lot of medicines have been found at home on the spot.
