New Delhi: India on Thursday fired a nuclear-capable ballistic missile Agni- amid heightened tension after a clash between the soldiers of India (India) and China (China) in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh. Successfully carried out night trial of 5. Defense sources gave this information.

The Agni-V project aims to enhance India’s nuclear deterrence against China, which is reported to have missiles like the Dongfeng-41, with a range of between 12,000-15,000 km.
Two persons with knowledge of the development said that the Agni-5 missile has been successfully tested. However, there has been no official statement on the test of the missile. The test-firing of the missile is part of the process of inducting it into the three services. These individuals said the test confirmed several important aspects of the weapon.
In June, India successfully test-fired the nuclear-capable Agni-IV ballistic missile at night in a bid to boost military capabilities. India has been steadily increasing its overall military strength over the years. The country has successfully tested several missiles during this period. Last May, the extended-range version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile was test-fired from a Sukhoi fighter aircraft. This was the first launch of the extended-range version of the BrahMos missile from a Sukhoi-30MKI aircraft.
