
New Delhi: The Press Association on Wednesday condemned the “sudden sealing” of the Kashmir Times office in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, and demanded that the office be reopened immediately.

In a statement, the Press Association condemned the “sudden sealing” of the Srinagar-based newspaper’s office by the Jammu and Kashmir administration. According to Anuradha Bhasin, executive editor of the newspaper, she was not given any notice before the ceiling, the statement said. The daily newspaper was assigned an office in a government building.
