New Delhi: Kannada blockbuster film Kantara, directed and starring Rishabh Shetty, is being loved by the audience. Apart from the audience, celebs were also seen applauding the film a lot. These celebs include names like Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Agnihotri, Pooja Hegde, Allu Arjun, Urmila Matondkar, Prashanth Neel, and superstar Rajinikanth. The film is also seen doing record-breaking business at the box office. The film has stunned everyone by crossing the Rs 200 crore mark so far in its domestic market in India. Meanwhile, film trade analyst Sumit Kadel released the collection figures of ‘Kantara’ by tweeting late on Friday night.
Sumit Kadel from the social media post told that ‘#Kantara has earned ₹ 200 crores in domestic BO (All Languages). This is a MONUMENTAL FEAT, especially for a higher level. The film has also surpassed the total footfall of #KGFChapter2 in Karnataka. The film is poised to cross the 50-crore mark in Hindi.
Let us tell you, the film ‘Kantara’ was earlier released by the makers in Kannada. Seeing the good response to the film, the makers decided to release it in multiple languages. After dubbing this film in Hindi, it was released in theaters on 14 October. The Tamil and Telugu versions hit the theaters on October 15.
