New Delhi: Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has made the first tweet after the accident. In his tweet, Pant thanked the fans and the Board of Control for Cricket in India for supporting him in difficult times. Pant has told that his surgery has been successful and is ready for the challenges ahead.
Let us tell you that Rishabh Pant was injured in a road accident last year. Pant was going to Roorkee in his Mercedes car when the accident happened. After the accident, Rishabh Pant was first treated at Max Hospital in Dehradun. He was then shifted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
Rishabh Pant wrote, ‘I am extremely humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support and wishes. I am happy to inform you that my surgery was successful. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thanks to BCCI, Jaishah, and government authority.
Pant further wrote, “From the bottom of my heart I would also like to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors, and physios for their kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to seeing you all on the field.
Rishabh Pant underwent ligament reconstruction surgery at Kokilaben Hospital. Now Rishabh Pant is likely to undergo another surgery within the next six weeks. According to reports, Pant has already been ruled out of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) and will also miss the ICC ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year.
