The video of the rare animal is going viral on social media. Indian Forest Officer Parveen Kaswan has shared a video on Twitter in which an animal of the cat family is seen. This animal is like a big cat in appearance and its ears are pointed. The mouth of this strange and rare animal is somewhat like that of a lion but its body and movements are like that of a dog. This video has been shot in Ladakh. IFS Parveen Kaswan has also asked people to guess the name of this animal.
The IFS officer tweeted the video of this animal and said, “A beautiful and rare animal found in India. in Ladakh. Many people do not know about it. Guess what. In the video shared by Kaswan, this clay-colored animal is seen roaming around and many dogs around are seen barking at it. At the end of the video, it sits down but still, the dogs keep barking at it. Kaswan has given the credit for this video to Sherin Fatima.
In another tweet, Kaswan tweeted with a photo from Wikipedia and said that “This is a Himalayan lynx. One of the wild cat species found in India. A beautiful and rare creature. Found in Leh-Ladakh.
