Bhopal: Night curfew can be imposed in Bhopal and Indore districts from Sunday or Monday. In these districts, the programs in the closed meeting halls will also be able to be held in the presence of half the people of capacity. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave these instructions in a review meeting on Friday on the increasing rate of corona infection.
He said that the increase in corona infection in the state is a matter of concern. It has to be stopped at all costs. All measures should be taken for this. Public awareness campaign should be conducted. Encourage masks and other measures under the Roko-Toko campaign. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri and officials of Health Department were present in the meeting. In-charge officers and principal secretaries of the districts were involved through video conferencing.
More infections in thirteen districts
The corona infection rate has been found to be high in thirteen districts of the state. These are Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Chhindwara, Burhanpur, Khargone, Ratlam, Ujjain, Betul, Sagar, Rewa, and Khandwa. Instructions were given to the police, municipal corporations, and municipalities to apply masks from vehicles, etc. to take protective measures and motivate people to be vigilant. The Chief Minister said that artists, conduct awareness campaigns in these districts by taking presentations from place to place. Tell people that strict steps will be taken if the infection increases. Awareness campaigns should be conducted in other districts as and when required. Call a meeting of the Disaster Management Committee and adopt safety measures as per the situation in the district.
Special precautions in districts adjoining Maharashtra
The Chief Minister said that special vigilance should be taken to prevent infection in districts bordering Maharashtra including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur. There should be a thermal check of passengers of airplanes, trains, and buses coming from Maharashtra. Limiting traffic to Maharashtra was also considered.
Precautions to be taken at shops
In districts with Corona infection cases, shopkeepers will have to take all protective measures in the shop. Rope in front of the shop and keep a sufficient distance between the customers. Encourage customers to use sanitizers and apply masks as well. Action should be taken against shopkeepers who do not follow these measures.
Other important instructions
- Workers coming to Madhya Pradesh will be screened during festivals.
- Keep Kovid command centers active and provide adequate doctors services.
- In-charge officers appointed for prevention, keep constant contact in the districts of charge.
- Take special care of the hospitalized patients, patients placed on ventilator support. Serious patients could not die.
–Students should be motivated to get vaccinated.
Number of corona patients in 1 day in the state reached above 600 after 3 months
It was informed in the meeting that 219 cases of corona in Indore and 138 new cases have come in Bhopal. 26 cases were found in Jabalpur, 25 in Gwalior, 19 in Chhindwara, 16 in Burhanpur, 16 in Khargone, 15 in Ratlam, 15 in Ujjain, 13 in Betul, 11 in Sagar, 10 in Rewa and 9 in Khandwa. 603 new corona infected patients have been found in the state. The number of active cases is 4,094. On an average, 490 infected cases have been reported per day in the last 7 days. The average recovery rate is 96.7 percent.
Now the Local bodies will follow the physical distance and rule of applying mask
In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the urban bodies will bear the responsibility of following the physical distance to the public and to install masks. The vehicles of the body will appeal to loud speakers in Chowk-intersection and street-mohalla. In a directive issued on Friday, Urban Development and Housing Department Principal Secretary Nitesh Vyas said that the public should be advised to apply masks continuously and follow physical distance. Follow physical distance in all city markets. No one is seen shopping at the shops without a mask. Follow these instructions strictly.
On Thursday, 603 corona patients were found in the state
According to the Health Bulletin released by the State Government on Friday, 603 patients of Corona have been found in the state on Thursday. This is the first time since 10 January that the number of corona patients has crossed 600. On Thursday, the maximum number of 219 patients were found in Indore and 138 in Bhopal. In Indore and Chhindwara, one patient died of the disease on Thursday. The big thing is that in the sample tested on Thursday, the percentage of positive ie infection rate was 4 percent.
