New Delhi: The time is not far when electric bikes will completely compete with petrol-powered motorcycles. Now many such electric motorcycles are being sold in the market which not only save money but are also ahead of petrol bikes in terms of power and performance. Seeing the increasing trend of customers towards electric two-wheelers in the market, now many companies have started launching their electric bikes.
Recently, electric two-wheeler manufacturer Tork Motors launched the Tork Kratos R Urban electric bike. The company has introduced this e-bike in three colors Streaky Red, Oceanic Blue, and Midnight Blue. The Kratos R Urban e-bike is the affordable model of the Kratos e-bike launched earlier by Tork Motors with a price tag of Rs. 1.67 lacks (ex-showroom). The bike is almost Rs. 20,000 cheaper than its top model.
Great range
Tork Kratos R Urban has been made by the company, especially for the purpose of use in cities. The e-bike is powered by an axial flux motor that generates 12 Bhp power and 38 Nm peak torque. Let us tell you that this e-bike is more powerful than the 350cc Bullet. The engine of the Royal Enfield Bullet generates maximum power of 19 Bhp and a peak torque of 27 Nm.
To power this e-bike, the company has used a 4 kWh capacity lithium-ion battery pack. The bike only gets city mode in which it can reach a top speed of 70 kmph. At the same time, once fully charged, it can run up to 100 kilometers.

Features like map navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, vehicle locator, anti-theft system, geofencing, charging point location, OTA update, ride analytics, and guide light have been provided in this electric bike. The company is going to start booking Kratos R Urban from August 15, 2023, across all its customer experience centers. To book this bike, a token amount of Rs 999 will have to be paid.
