New Delhi: Crude oil prices in the global market have fallen by about $3 during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, changes are visible in the retail rates of petrol and diesel issued by the government oil companies. Even on the day of Holi, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased in many cities.
According to government oil companies, petrol has become costlier by 35 paise to reach Rs 96.58 a liter in Ghaziabad, while diesel has gone up by 33 paise to Rs 89.75 a liter. Petrol became cheaper by 26 paise in Gurugram today, which has become Rs 96.84 a liter. Diesel is being sold at Rs 89.72 a liter after falling by 24 paise. In Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 1.31 to Rs 109.39 a liter, while diesel has increased by Rs 1.19 to reach Rs 94.55 a liter.
Talking about crude oil, there has been a big fall in its prices during the last 24 hours. Brent crude became cheaper by $ 3 and was sold at $ 83.31 per barrel. The price of WTI has also declined by $ 3 to $ 77.50 per barrel.

– Petrol in Ghaziabad has become Rs 96.58 and diesel Rs 89.75 per liter.
– Petrol in Jaipur has become Rs 109.39 and diesel Rs 94.55 per liter.
– Petrol has become Rs 96.84 and diesel Rs 89.72 per liter in Gurugram.
New rates are released every morning at 6 am
There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT, and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
