Islamabad: Praising the development model of China, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that his government will accelerate economic growth and eradicate poverty. Wants to learn from China’s industrial development.
Khan said in an event here, “If we can learn from any country in this world, then it is China.” His development model is most suitable for Pakistan. ” He said, “The speed at which China has developed in the last 30 years is something that we can learn from.”
Khan said that China has proved that poverty alleviation is real development. He said, “The way it industrialized, created special export zones, got investment from abroad and used them to increase its exports … as a result, China increased its wealth.” He said, “He used that money to lift his people out of poverty … There is no such example in history.”
China said last month that poverty in all counties of the world’s most populous country has been eradicated. Khan said that (his) government has created Special Economic Zones to attract and shift sugar industries so that they can export their products from Pakistan. He said that the new year will be a year of economic growth as the country is moving in the right direction. He said, “Our exports are growing compared to our competitors, so Pakistan is moving in the right direction.”
