Pakistan once again hit back, saying on Saturday night that most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim is not in his country. Pakistan had earlier on Saturday evening called for action against 88 banned militant organizations, including Dawood Ibrahim. At the same time, it was accepted that Dawood Ibrahim lives in Karachi, but Pakistan denied this statement at night.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that it is being claimed in the Indian media that Pakistan has accepted Dawood Ibrahim’s presence in his country. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that this claim of the Indian media is baseless and misleading. He also denied that Pakistan is banning these 88 organizations.

According to Pakistani newspaper The News, the government of Pakistan has recently banned 88 mentors and members of the terrorist group in compliance with the new list released by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). The list includes Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Taliban, Daesh, Haqqani group, Al Qaeda. The government has ordered forfeiture of movable and immovable properties of all these organizations and to seal their bank accounts.

According to media reports, Pakistan had admitted that Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan and he lives in Karachi. His address is White House Karachi. It is also reported that Dawood holds 14 passports and has three houses in Karachi. Dawood fled to Pakistan after the 1993 Mumbai blasts. In these blasts, 257 people lost their lives and around 1400 people were injured. Since then, there have been reports of Dawood hiding in Pakistan, but Islamabad never confessed.
