New Delhi: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will now be held on January 31 next year i.e. 2021. A notification has been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE has given this information in its notification.
The exam was to be held on July 5
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was to be held on July 5, 2020 this year. For this, examination centers were to be set up in 112 cities of the country, but it was postponed due to corona and some other reasons. Now CBSE has again issued a new notification regarding CTET exam and said that this exam will now be held on Sunday 31st January in 2021. This time examination centers will be set up in 135 cities. Here is a list of new cities
In Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai / Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Ambedkar Nagar, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Deoria, Gonda, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur and Examination centers will also be set up now. The list of cities is also available on the CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
Exam centers can change until November 16
CBSE has also facilitated the candidates to change the examination center. Candidates who have to change their examination centers can change the examination centers from 7th November to 16th November 2020 at 11.59 pm.
