Jaipur: In the election year, CM Ashok Gehlot is trying his best to win the trust of the employees. In this episode, the government has taken many big decisions in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday night. Under this, the biggest decision is the announcement of giving the benefit of full pension to the government state employees only after 25 years of service. In Rajasthan, now government employees will get full pension even after taking retirement after 25 years of service instead of 28. Along with this, pensioners or family pensioners of 75 years will get 10 percent additional pension allowance.

Chief Minister Gehlot has now made a big effort to help the 55 percent OBC class. For this, the Gehlot cabinet has made a big bet. Now, if eligible candidates are not found in the recruitment of the OBC-MBC category, it has been decided to keep those posts vacant for three years and carry forward them. Right now this provision was only in the SC-ST category. Now OBC will also get this facility. This decision of the government is also linked to the elections.

Gehlot made this big announcement for family pension
According to the decision of the Gehlot government, now on the death of an employee or pensioner, his married disabled son-daughter will also get the benefit of a family pension. The benefit of this changed rule will be available from 1 April 2023. Along with this, it has also been announced to increase the special pay of the employees. The cabinet has approved the proposal to amend the Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017. Gehlot had announced this in the 2023-24 budget. According to this, the special allowance and special pay of the employees can be increased as per the recommendation of the Pay Anomaly Testing Committee.

The big gift is given to work charge employees as well
The Gehlot cabinet has now decided to give salaries and positions equal to regular government employees to work charge employees working in government departments. The cabinet has approved the proposal to amend the Rajasthan Civil Services Revised Pay Scale Rules. With this, now work charge employees will be able to get full salary and will get the benefit of pension after retirement.

Dausa Medical College was named after Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma
The cabinet has approved the renaming of Dausa Medical College after the late senior Congress leader and former Governor of Gujarat Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma. Chief Minister Gehlot announced this in the unveiling program of Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma’s statue on May 11.

Now there will be another chance for promotion in the prosecution service
Rajasthan Prosecution Service (Amendment) Rules 2023 has been approved in the cabinet meeting. It has now been decided to give an additional promotion opportunity to the officers of the Prosecution Service. Under this, a new post of Joint Director Prosecution has been created. Apart from this, the pay level of the post of Additional Director has been increased from L-20 to L-21.

Gurjar and Regar communities will be given cheap land for the hostel
The cabinet has decided to allot land to Veer Gurjar Vikas Charitable Trust Bhilwara and Raigar Samaj Bikaner at affordable rates for hostels. It has been decided to give 280.08 square yards of land in Sector-9 of RC Vyas Nagar Yojna of UIT Bhilwara to Veer Gurjar Vikas Charitable Trust Bhilwara at 5 percent of the reserved rate. The proposal to allow 15,000 square feet of land at the rate of 5 percent of the reserved rate has been approved to Regar Samaj Bikaner under the Golden Jubilee Scheme of UIT Bikaner for the hostel.
