New Delhi: Demanding the repeal of three new farm laws, farmers protesting on the borders of the national capital on Wednesday rejected the Centre’s proposal to continue with the MSP. Is ready to give assurance in writing. Farmers Protest said in a press conference here that if the government sends another proposal, then they can consider them. Farmer leader Shiv Kumar Kakka said that if the three laws are not repealed, the streets of Delhi will be closed one after the other and farmers can also take a decision on crossing the Sindhu border and entering Delhi.
District headquarters will be surrounded on December 14
He said that no decision has been taken yet on the next round of talks with the central government regarding the three agricultural laws. Kakka said that in protest against these laws, farmers will surround the district headquarters in the states on December 14 and the Delhi-Jaipur highway will be closed on December 12. Farmer leader Darshan Pal said in a press conference that the Agra-Delhi Expressway will be closed on December 12 and no tax will be paid on any toll plaza of the country on that day.
At the same time, farmer leader Prahlad Singh Bharukheda said that there is nothing new in the government’s proposal and we will continue our protest against agri-marketing laws. Significantly, against the three agricultural laws of the Center, thousands of farmers have been protesting at various borders of Delhi for the past several days.
Five rounds of talks have been held with the government regarding their demands of the farmers’ organizations, but the matter has not been made. Home Minister Amit Shah also held talks with 13 leaders of farmer organizations on Tuesday, but no solution was found in that too. After that, the sixth round of talks between the government and farmers’ representatives was canceled on Wednesday.
