New Delhi: A few days ago a teaser was shared by MG Motor India. In this teaser, a glimpse of the new special edition of his Gloster was shown. The company has named this special edition Blackstorm. This car has been launched in the market today (May 29). The launch was announced by MG Motor a few days back. The Blackstorm variant of the Gloster is available in six and seven-seater variants with 2WD and 4WD configurations. Let’s know what else is special in this car
Use of dark black color on window
MG Motor has made cosmetic changes to this special edition both inside and out. The red accents along with the metallic black paint scheme have been carried over to the Gloster Blackstorm edition. The car has been decorated with red-colored garnishes on the front-rear skid plates, ORVMs, door panels, and headlight clusters. The tailgate gets Gloster lettering in black with the words Blackstorm badging on the front fenders. Dark black color has been used on alloy wheels, roof rails, smoked taillights, and windows.
The 8-speed automatic transmission in both the options
Like the dark colors on the outside of the car, the same color scheme/color theme is reflected on the inside of the car as well. The dashboard and upholstery have been painted with a black and red color theme. The steering wheel, floor mats, and door pads are in dark red color. This luxurious special edition features the same BS6 stage 2-updated 2.0-liter diesel engine as the regular Gloster. Also, it has two options, Turbo and Twin-Turbo. Both options get an 8-speed automatic transmission. The twin-turbo variant also gets a 4WD configuration.
