New Delhi: The 5th round of talks between the government and the farmer leaders at Vigyan Bhavan is over. During the meeting held on Saturday, all of a sudden the farmer leaders have maintained silence. Farmer leaders sat in the Vigyan Bhavan carrying placards. He says that now the answer is yes or no. While Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal have left the meeting room. According to the news agency ANI, it has been decided in the meeting that on December 9, at the request of all the stakeholders, there will be another round of talks between the farmer leaders and the central government.
After the meeting, the farmer leaders who left Vigyan Bhavan said, the central government has said that they will send us a proposal on December 9. We will discuss this with each other followed by a meeting with them on the same day. In fact, during the negotiations with the government, the farmers got angry. He said that the government should fulfill the demands, otherwise they will leave the meeting. Meanwhile, the Agriculture Minister appealed to the farmers and asked them to ask the senior citizens and children to return home.
After the meeting, Indian Farmers Union Rakesh Tikait said, “The government will prepare a draft and give it to us. He said that he would also seek advice from the states. There was also discussion on MSP but we said that we should also adopt laws and talk about their role. India will be closed (on December 8) as announced. ‘

During the talks with the government, the farmer leaders said that we have one year’s supply. We have been on the road for the last several days. If the government wants us to be on the road, we have no problem. We will not follow the path of non-violence.
