New Delhi: Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Saturday protested against the deployment of three armed security personnel at his home in the national capital, saying that it had not been done to monitor them. She said, “On investigation, I came to know that these armed officers have been deployed by Barakhamba Road Police Station for my safety.”

The MP said, “However, as an ordinary citizen of this country, neither I have sought such protection nor do I want to. Therefore, you are requested to call these security officers back. ”

In this regard, a senior police officer said that wherever there is a danger, the force is deployed for security. The official said, “But it was a regular deployment. However, we have withdrawn our force as requested. “
