New York: An amazing video of lightning striking the sky-high One World Trade Center building in New York is going viral. The video was taken on Saturday night when a severe thunderstorm hit the American city. The thunderclap was so powerful that the light scattered all around. A few days ago a similar scene was seen on the historical Jesus statue in Brazil.
Twitter user Max Giuliani (@maximusupinNYc) shared this video. In this, you can see that a powerful electric current collides with the 546-meter-high building of One World Center. Guliani tweeted the video and wrote, “Lightning storm at One World Trade tonight #NYC. The video went viral as soon as it was shared.” It was viewed more than 25 lakh times in a few hours. Got around 2000 likes. A Twitter user called it unbelievable.
The special technique does not cause harm
Many others also shared pictures and videos of the storm. Let us tell you that all the major skyscrapers have special technology. The electricity that falls here goes straight into the ground through pipes and wires. There is almost no damage from this. Otherwise, the terrible lightning that fell on the One World Trade Center could have caused a lot of destruction.

In April 2021, a video went viral in which lightning struck Wisconsin’s Woutoma High School. He burnt the pine tree to ashes. Earlier in 2020, sky cameras from a local news station WUSA9 captured an incredible video of lightning striking the Washington Monument during a storm.
