South Korean carmaker Kia Motors is fastening its grip in India. Kia Motors is now betting on electric cars. Hence, Kia has presented pictures of its upcoming electric car Kia EV6 for the first time. For the first time in these pictures, the Kia EV6 exterior and interior can be clearly seen.
After releasing the pictures of Kia EV6, there have been speculations about its launch as well. It will also be world premiered soon during a mega online event. The new Kia EV6 is a dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV), designed on the company’s new electric global modular platform (E-GMP).
The company has given it a crossover look, which makes it quite attractive. The company has given it a sleek design and rakish windskin. Apart from this, the LED taillights given in the rear of the car makes the beauty of this car even better.
The Kia EV6 gets its own patented nose grille, slick day time running lights (DRL’s) and attractive headlamps. In the previous part, the company has given aerodynamic sporty slope with the C-Pillar.
Its biggest feature is its long wide audio visual navigation (AVN) system. This system extends through the steering wheel to the entire center dashboard. This entire unit displays details like instrument cluster, infotainment system, navigation. Apart from this, passenger control HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) settings are given in it.
According to media reports, its powertrain and performance may be similar to the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 6. However, no official announcement has been made by the company about it yet. In this, the E-GMP platform has been used, which charges the car up to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. It is believed that a battery of 72.6 kWh capacity can be used in it. Which can last up to 500 km in a single charge
