Bhopal: The movement of Karni Sena, which has been going on for the last four days, has come to an end. Karni Sena MP chief Jeevan Singh Sherpur and thousands of workers sat on a dharna at Gandhi Chowk in Bhopal for their continuous demands since the big demonstration at Bhopal’s Jamboree Maidan on 8th January. Government’s Cooperative Minister Arvind Bhadauria reached the spot late on Wednesday evening and got Jeevan Singh to end his fast by giving him juice. During this, a consensus has also been reached on 18 out of 22 demands, on which a high-level committee will be formed to discuss.

If the demands are not met then we will agitate again
Jeevan Singh Sherpur told News 18 that out of 22 demands have been agreed upon. A letter has also been handed over on behalf of Minister Arvind Bhadoria. A committee of leaders, officers, and Karni Sena workers will be formed. We will fight with the Center regarding reservation on economic grounds and the Etro City Act. Demands will be fulfilled within 2 months. If it is not fulfilled then we will agitate once again.

Justified demands will be fulfilled after discussion
Cooperative Minister Arvind Bhadoria ended the fast of Karni Sena leader Jeevan Singh Sherpur by giving him juice. Talking to News18, he told that a high-level committee has been formed, and officers of the rank of Additional Chief Secretary are included. Justice will be discussed on reasonable demands. The people of Karni Sena will also participate in this. If needed, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora, and I will also be involved. Minister Bhadoria said that now the strike will end, the right demands will be discussed on them.

The Karni Sena family and other organizations have demanded reservations on economic grounds during their agitation. Along with this, there should be a ban on arrest without investigation in the SC-ST Act. Along with this, the General Backward Act should also be made, which can protect the interests of the General Backward Classes. In EWS reservation, the compulsion of land and house should be abolished and reservation should be given on the basis of the annual income of 8 lacks only. Along with this, the agitators also demanded a recruitment law be made to provide employment to the unemployed. The Karni Sena family has also demanded the regularization of guest teachers, employment assistants, and contract health workers. At the same time, there is a demand to form a History Protection Committee demanding an immediate ban on tampering with the history of Kshatriya’s great men.
