Washington: America’s elected vice-president Kamala Harris publicly took the first dose of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine to build trust among the public, and also requested US citizens to get vaccinated. Harris and her husband Doug Imhoff received the vaccine on Tuesday at United Medical Center in Washington DC.
Earlier, elected President Joe Biden last week received a similar vaccine. Harris called the vaccination process relatively painless and requested all Americans to be vaccinated. He said I believe in scientists. It is the scientists who have created and approved this vaccine. So I request everyone to get vaccinated.
