
Maryland: American educator Keyshia Thorpe has said that Indian entrepreneurs, academicians, and research organizations deserve appreciation for discovering innovative ways to rebuild the education system during the COVID pandemic.
Thorpe is an English teacher at International High School Langley Park in Maryland, USA, and was awarded the Global Teacher Award in November 2021. Under this award, he was given an amount of one million dollars. About eight thousand teachers from 121 countries were nominated for this award.
She has made a significant contribution to providing college-level education to the first generation coming to America, low-income groups, and immigrant students.

Thorpe called upon India’s “leading” entrepreneurs, non-profits, and research organizations to submit their names for the ‘Klaus J Jacob Best Practice Award’ for the year 2022, so that academics from across the world can study the innovative ideas developed by them, With the help of which he helped in recovering this area in a better way from the Covid-19 epidemic.
It is noteworthy that the Claus J Jacob Best Practice Award is given for taking a remarkable work or method with the aim of improving the quality of education. The last date for nomination for this is February 10.
