Washington: Raja Krishnamoorthi, a Member of Indian Origin MP in the US, has done away with the limit on the number of Immigrants of a country for an Employment-based Green Card. Bill applauded. He said that these reforms will help America to retain the talents of the world to further its economy.
Krishnamurthy, an MP from the Democratic Party of Illinois, said on Friday, “I am proud to say that with the support of legislation related to better-skilled immigrants, this immigration package has allowed countries to go for green card-based employment. In India, the ban on visas will end and the number of green cards will increase for each country. ”
He said, “These reforms will boost the economy of our country and create new employment opportunities and will help in retaining the talent of the world.” Any bill related to immigration should have a provision to approve pending applications for green cards and I will continue to voice these provisions till the law is made. ”
The NGO, South Asian Americans Leading Together, said in a statement that the bill will pave the way for 1.1 crore immigrants to get citizenship. It will also have 6,50,000 people from South Asia who do not yet have a permanent visa to live.
