But now after this tremendous protest of the people, the makers have decided to change the name of this film. Now the name ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ has been changed to ‘Laxmii’.

Viewers have been excited about these most awaited films of Akshay Kumar for a long time but as soon as the trailer of this film was released, a controversy arose over it. The different incarnation of Akshay Kumar was praised in this film but people expressed displeasure over its title. It was said to hurt Hindu religious sentiments. On the other hand, today, when the film directed by Raghav Laurent went for censor certificate, after the screening, the makers had a conversation with the CBFC.

While during this conversation, respecting the feelings of the audience, the producers of the film Shabina Khan, Tushar Karuk and Akshay Kumar decided that the name of this film should be changed. The name of this horror comedy has been changed to ‘Laxmii’. Explain that Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer this film is being released on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP on November 9.
